who we are​

JLS Builders, LLC is a dream realized in 2019 by Justin Look, a Carpenter and Maine native with over 17 years of building experience. With a passion for transforming spaces indoors and out, Justin will work with you to plan, build, remodel, flip or add to your space. Growing up in Machias, Justin spent all his free time alongside his grandfather Woody, building, creating, assembling and learning all the tricks of the trade. He dreamt of someday owning his own business.

Justin is joined by his wife, Erinn Look who specializes in all things Design and Administrative related. Originally from Northern New Jersey, Erinn holds a BA in Studio Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Erinn had spent the past 15 years as a Corporate Artist and an Art Teacher in the Greater Portland area before joining forces with Justin to create JLS Builders, LLC. Erinn will work with you to choose all the fine details of your build including flooring, paint colors, custom builds and fixtures. In addition to her keen sense of design, she also manages the billing, contracting and scheduling for the projects.

​​​JLS Builders, LLC. offers a wide range of contractor services from flipping rental apartments, renovating newly purchased homes before move-in, additions, decks, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms as well as building custom furniture and built-ins. Contact us for smaller jobs like windows, doors, siding repair and trim. With our vast array of subcontractors, there are few services we can't provide.
